Spearhead

Michael Franti and Spearhead offer up an album featuring a groovy, reggae-infused ballad with pop chanteuse Pink, a soulful track with the roots rock group Gentleman and four deep funk cuts with reggae all stars Sly & Robbie. Though the greater part of Yell Fire! is composed of unsettling words of war and social cataclysm, Spearhead manages to incorporate animated rhythms with an overwhelming sense of optimism to express their pacifist message.
