Fresh out of Spacemen 3, Jason Pierce laid the groundwork for this blissed-out masterwork with a series of EPs he released in 1991. This followed a year later, and while the songs carry the same two-chord blues drone that ran through his old group's veins, here things are restructured into elaborate, fluid songs, cyclically constructed for maximum headphone enjoyment.
