Stereophonics

The Stereophonics get positively funky on the wah-wah laced single "Superman." The band finds a solid, in-the-pocket groove straight away and, once it hits its stride, refuses to budge. As pleasurable as that is, the group's version of the Stooges' rough-and-ready classic, "I Wanna Be Your Dog," is simply spectacular.
