Suicide Silence

While it's unclear whether Suicide Silence are doing what they do best or doing what other deathcore bands do best, their first full-length landed at No. 92 on the Billboard Album Charts its first week out -- a huge feat for a debut extreme metal album. An amalgamation of classic and modern forms of death metal and extreme metalcore, Suicide Silence are vicious and abrasive, yet cleanly produced, having tapped John Travis of Static-X and Tue Madsen to handle production and mixing duties.
