Sun Ra

A notable live session from the mid '70s where Ra leads the group through some moody, sometimes sluggish cuts (although a few have never been found anywhere else outside of this record). The droning, propulsive "I Pharaoh" takes the listener on a meditative 18-minute joyride. In a bout of rare concision, "Space Is The Place" is whittled down to just over three minutes.
