Sun Ra

By the late '80s, Sun Ra was continuing to make relevant, strong recordings as this set can attest. Ra was overseeing a few different groups on this recording, one of the more notable ones included a guest spot from trumpeter Don Cherry. On the stronger cuts, the group tackles the Gershwin standard, "'S Wonderful" and finds new eloquence on "Love In Outer Space."
