Do I have to sign up for a Rhapsody account before I can use my coupon?
Yes, signing up for Rhapsody is absolutely FREE and your coupon code will be credited to your account.

I have a coupon code, how do I redeem?
Coupons can be redeemed at: http://www.rhapsody.com/promo.

If you are new to Rhapsody, sign up with your email address and a password.
If you are currently a Rhapsody subscriber, click on "Existing Customer" and enter your email address and password.

Note: Please make sure you enter the entire code including CAPS and dashes.

Why does it say my code is invalid?
You may have typed in the coupon code incorrectly. Please try again and make sure you enter the code in all CAPS and include all dashes. If you continue to experience issues with your code, please contact Rhapsody Customer Support.

What if it says my code is expired?
The promotion may have ended. Please check the expiration date of the coupon code you have been provided to ensure your code is still valid. If your code is valid but you continue to receive this error, please contact Rhapsody Customer Support.

Why am I receiving a "technical difficulties" message?
While we continue to provide continuous service, every now then we run into some technical issue. Please wait 15 minutes and try again. If you continue to receive this message please contact Rhapsody Customer Support.

It says I already have an account with Rhapsody but I don't remember ever creating one.
You can try redeeming your coupon as an existing customer with your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the "Forgot your password?" link and follow the steps to retrieve it.

How do I use my credit?
You can use your credit at the Rhapsody MP3 Store: http://mp3.rhapsody.com/home.html

You can also open your Rhapsody Software, sign in browse the catalog and click the "buy" button when you have chosen your song or album. Your credit will be applied toward purchasing your music.

Do I need to provide my credit card to use my coupon code?
No credit card is required to get your free music. Simply create an account or use your existing account to enter your Rhapsody code and get your free tracks.

When does my credit expire?
Your Rhapsody code came with Terms which include an expiration date. Please be sure to use your credits on the account before their expiration date.

How do I check to see if my credit is applied to my account?

  1. Open your Rhapsody Software and select  My Account  > Manage My Account. from the Rhapsody menus, or click on My Account from Rhapsody.com.

  2. Sign in to your account.

  3. Click Credits, on the left side of the "Account Summary" menu, to see your credit balance.

Do songs I buy with my credits  work with my iPod?
Yes! Rhapsody sells only DRM-free MP3s. They will play on almost any portable device, including iPod.
