How can I get my band or my friend's band's music on Rhapsody?

How can I get my band's music on Rhapsody? How can my label get their music on Rhapsody?

Working with just a few bands?
The easiest way for independent bands and artists to get their music into Rhapsody and the Rhapsody MP3 Store is to work with one of the digital music aggregation companies, which include CD Baby (http://members.cdbaby.com/), the Internet Online Distribution Alliance (http://www.iodalliance.com/), and The Orchard (www.theorchard.com), among others.

These companies will help bands encode their music in the right format and digitally deliver the information we need to easily add it to our services and make it available to consumers; they will also help you track how songs are selling and get royalties on those sales.

Working for a larger label?
If you are the rights holder for more than 1,000 songs, please contact licensing@rhapsody.com. If you have fewer than 1,000 songs in your catalog, please work with one of the content aggregators listed above.

Already on Rhapsody, and wanting to add photos to your Artist page?
If you are already listed on the Rhapsody Music Guide, and you have photos you would like added to your Artist page, please send an email to rhapsody-photos@rhapsody.com.

We look forward to offering your music through Rhapsody and the Rhapsody MP3 Store.
