ALERT: On Tuesday May 29th from 11pm-2am PST, we'll be performing important system maintenance. During this time, you may be unable to access the following, Rhapsody.com and Rhapsody Software, Rhapsody Mobile Apps for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry® and Windows® Phone 7 & Rhapsody compatible Home Audio Systems. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Song, artist, or album is grayed out (unavailable to play or purchase)

Why is this song or artist missing from Rhapsody? It was there before!

A track, artist, or album may be grayed out in Rhapsody Music Guide or My Library, even if it was available before.

Grayed out in the Music Guide?

This means that the artist or record label has chosen to make this material unavailable at this time. The artist or record label can change the content rights at any time.

If this happens, affected tracks will revert to 30-second samples or be grayed out as unavailable. These rights may be restored at a later date if the artist or record label allow them.

Grayed out in Rhapsody My Library view?

It may be for one of the following reasons:

  • The record label or artist has chosen to make it unavailable at this time (see above).

  • You are not signed in or your computer is not authorized to play Rhapsody tracks.

  • You canceled your subscription, or your subscription was canceled because we could not process your credit card for payment.

To subscribe again or verify your credit card information on file:

  1. Launch and sign in to Rhapsody.

  2. From the Rhapsody menu bar, select My Account, then Manage My Account.

  3. Confirm your password in the Sign In window and click the Sign In button.

  4. From the list of options to the left, select Account Summary or Billing Information to verify or change your information.
