What do I do if I can't find my songs or if a download does not complete from the Rhapsody MP3 Store?
Only part of the song will play? If it looks like only part of the song downloaded (it cuts off before the end, or the beginning is cut off when you play it back), this is an encoding issue that Rhapsody needs to investigate. Please fill out this form so we can look into the problem.
Getting a message that "your track cannot be downloaded"? Read this article for troubleshooting tips.
Otherwise, follow the steps below to complete your download.
Step 1: Check your purchase history.
- Click My Downloads in the navigation bar at the top of any page in the MP3 Store (mp3.rhapsody.com).
- Any songs that were not fully downloaded will appear at the top of the list, sorted by date and with a check box next to them.
If the song you're looking for has a check box, select the box. - Click the Download Selected Tracks button.

Note: Your files will be downloaded to your computer's default download location; usually your desktop. Please note the location where the files will be downloaded; you'll have a chance to select a different folder if you prefer.
Do not save your songs to a Temp folder as they may be deleted automatically by your computer.
- Don't see one of your songs?
If you don't see the MP3 you thought you purchased anywhere in the "My Downloads" list (with or without a check box), then the purchase did not complete. Check your email receipt to see if you were charged for the MP3.
- No check box for the song?
If you see the MP3 you purchased but it does not have a check box beside it, that means the MP3 downloaded successfully; you just need to find where the file was saved on your hard drive.
Step 2: Locate the downloaded track.
If you are not sure where your tracks were downloaded, you can search for the .zip file:
- On your
computer, search for RhapsodyMP3*.zip.
(The zip file is called
RhapsodyMP3, followed by the current date. )
- Search
finds your RhapsodyMP3 folder, double-click to open it.
- Extract the files to the folder of your choice. Windows users may want to extract to “My Music.” Mac users can extract to their “Music” folder.
