When I try to use Rhapsody.com, I get the message "An unexpected error has occurred." What can I do?
Are you experiencing this problem with one or two tracks only, or with all tracks that you try to play or download? If the problem is occurring with only a few tracks, then it may be an issue with the track itself; in this case, please report the problem.
If the problem occurs with all tracks, try the following solutions. You may not have to try them all; after each one, try playing or downloading again to see if the issue has been resolved.
Solution 1: Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Reset Internet Explorer or, if you use Firefox, follow these steps:
- Click Tools and select Clear Recent History.
- Click Details and make sure that Cookies and Cache are checked, then click Clear Now.
Solution 2: Update your Adobe Flash Player.
- Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
- Click Agree and Install to download the latest version of the Adobe Flash player.
- Go through the install process, then restart your web browser and try playing Rhapsody.com music again.
Solution 3: Update your browser.
Make sure you are using
the latest version of your preferred internet browser.
- For Internet Explorer, click Help, then About Internet Explorer; the most recent version is 8.
- For Firefox, click Help, then Check for Updates.
