What are the system requirements for Rhapsody 4?

Recommended System Requirements

• Windows 7, Vista, or XP Service Pack 2 with the latest Windows updates for full program functionality
• The latest version of Windows Media Player

Minimum System Requirements

Note: The full-version Rhapsody software is currently available for Windows only. Mac users can use Rhapsody.com.

• Windows XP, Vista or 7 (32-bit and 64-bit versions supported)
• Pentium III 1.0 GHz or higher
• 128 MB RAM
• 380 MB available hard disk space (this is the minimum disk space required to install the program. Additional disk space is necessary for downloading music files)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher with JavaScript/Active Scripting enabled
• Adobe Flash Player 8 or higher
• Windows Media Player 11
• 16-bit display recommended, 256 color display required
• 1024 x 768 display resolution recommended, 800 x 600 required
• Sound card
• Speakers or headphones
• Broadband Internet connection

Notes:

• Rhapsody 4.0 Build 4.311 (or greater) now supports 64-bit Vista and XP. Latest updates from Microsoft recommended.
• Rhapsody 4 runs on Windows XP SP1 with the following limitation: Channels do not work properly on Rhapsody Optimized portable devices on Windows XP Service Pack 1.
• For best results, it is recommended that you get the latest updates, patches, and service packs for your computer from Microsoft Windows Updates.
  
  

Device Transfer Requirements

Windows Vista or Windows XP with Windows Media Player 11 are recommended for using Rhapsody Premier or Premier Plus with a PlaysForSure device.

Regional Requirements

Rhapsody is only available to users in the United States at this time.

Does Rhapsody 4 work with the Intel-based Macintosh?

No. The Intel-based Macintosh is not compatible with Rhapsody at this time.
