Tesla

Recorded at Philadelphia's Trocadero Theatre, this LP foreshadowed the huge unplugged trend of the 1990s and posited Tesla as pop metal's most legitimate blues and rock historians. The cover of Five Man Electrical Band's "Signs" was among the band's biggest hits, but it's possible to really hear where the band's heart is with covers of the Dead's "Truckin'" and the Beatles' "We Can Work It Out." Also included here is a brightly jangling version of their first breakout hit, "Love Song."
