Their vocal sound was all their own, but like the Mamas & the Papas, the 5th Dimension were embraced by both 1960s youth culture and the older establishment. This breezy double disc illustrates how and why, as it moves from the aptly soulful "Stone Soul Picnic," to the psychedelic freak-out "Let the Sunshine In," to the pained adult pop of "One Less Bell to Answer."
