The Automatic Automatic

The Automatic Automatic show plenty of sharp edges on their debut, baring their teeth from the beginning with the sure single, "That's What She Said." Compared to most of their punk-inflected Warp Tour compatriots, they shoehorn their big choruses into a straight rock format. It seems a bit ironic on their lament to rock radio, "You Shout You Shout You Shout You Shout," but less so on the spacey "Team Drama" or drugged-out club rocker "Monster."
