The Everly Brothers

Labels love to reissue the Everlys' 1983 reunion concert. Every couple of years they either release it as an abridged sampler or split the marathon performance over two individually packaged discs, which is what's going on here. Volume 1 is the first half of that now-legendary show, when a revitalized Everly Brothers, dressed in tuxedos no less, proved that they still rocked in spite of years of commercial indifference, drug abuse and family turmoil. These icons deserve all the adulation.
