The Heavenly States

Brightly lit tunes that walk the line between power pop crunch and rainbow-colored sing-alongs. The melodies seem so perfect that they were probably mapped out on graph paper. Nothing here is by the book, though -- the album is continuously engaging, and the male/female harmonies are fantastic.
