The Knife's profile shot through the roof in 2006, as the Swedish boy/girl electronic duo morphed from a willfully obscure experimental act to an internationally acclaimed sensation, not to mention one of the hottest tickets going -- not bad for a group that had never toured before. The brilliance of this live set cannot be overstated. The spooky, hair-raising sound these two achieve with their chirpy, affected voices; prickly, squiggly electronic noises; and sharp, forceful beats is here exploded and batted about, much to the joy of the attendant audience. Amazing.
