Rhapsody

With this patchwork of new-wave revivalism, pub rock, punk and folk rock, this Philadelphia band seems to be finding its legs with its debut LP. But even if the Teeth haven't quite managed to piece it together perfectly, the truly outstanding tunes here, such as "All the Girls in the World" or "The People in the Street," are driven by sharp-tongued turns, throaty harmonies and gutsy exuberance.
