Aqueous sounds ebb and flow at unpredictable, slow paces. Acoustic instruments play gentle notes that resound off the walls of a large enclosed space; the room is warm but lonely as melodies lose their will halfway to your ears. Notes swirl around drones that build and tear themselves down before creating too much tension. Thuja's passive arrangements are surreal and abstract, as if Nurse with Wound attempted to reign in their sound with a traditional and lovely sense of musicality.
