Tommy Shane Steiner

About

While many country music singers romanticize the old west, Tommy Shane Steiner actually grew up surrounded by the cowboy lifestyle. His grandfather was Buck Steiner, a bona fide rodeo champion and member of the Cowboy Hall of Fame. Along with his parents and younger brother, Steiner was also heavily involved in rodeo life from a very young age. After growing up talking the talk and walking the walk, he now sings the songs. While some critics hail him as the male version of Faith Hill, and he is adept at tear-jerking ballads, Steiner's songs are mostly more rocking than romantic. His melodies, too, are loaded with the kind of catchy hooks normally found in pop, although he makes sure to root his lyrics in country music's clever phrasings.
