Tracy Lawrence

You gotta tip your hat to Tracy Lawrence for keeping it real on his first-ever Christmas album. His band pulls in the old-school twang with a classic western swing style reminiscent of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. Lawrence even references the viciousness of hellish holiday Wal-Mart shopping in the playful opening title track. But "Cold Beer" is easily the standout track here, with its swanky, delightfully irreverent holiday lyrics: "God rest ye merry gentlemen / I'll sit at this bar with my good friends / And we'll all toast Christmas cheer / with cold beer."
