With the opening turntable cuts and trashy funk loop of first track "Nonscience," listeners would be forgiven for mistaking Disque for being accessible. But the track's punchy, stop/start rhythm and the emcee's goofy rhymes soon destroy such notions. TTC effectively shatter prior constructs of what hip-hop should or shouldn't be on their debut.
