Freak folkies are going to folking freak hard on this one. Here are 25 previously unreleased songs that Vashti Bunyan recorded from 1964 to 1967. The opening title track is a Mick Jagger/Keith Richards-penned song that the Glimmer Twins never put out. Back then, Andrew Loog Oldham was trying to mold the feathery voiced Bunyan into another Marianne Faithfull. And while some of those recordings flirt with baroque inspired instrumentation and soulful Phil Spector-esque production, the stripped down demos of acoustic guitar and her wispy voice are the most intimate and precious tracks here.

This set's title song is most notable not for the singer but the composers: Mick Jagger and
Keith Richards, who gave the song - more folk-pop sweetness than "Brown Sugar" - to their
producer Andrew Loog Oldham, who made it the debut release by his protégée, Vashti
