Rhapsody

Jazz fans generally hated Wes' hit A&M albums, but the discs have held up well over the years. This one topped the jazz, R&B and pop charts with Deodato and Don Sebesky providing solid arrangements behind Montgomery's signature guitar sound. The rhythm section features Post Bop heavyweights Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Grady Tate laying down a real jazz foundation.
