Zero 7

In their own quiet, unassuming way, Zero 7 crafted three of the finest albums of the 2000s. This work, their fourth, isn't quite up to that level, but it's a solid offering that showcases two new vocalists -- Martha Tilston, whose rosy-cheeked English melancholy fits the band well, and the rambunctious Eska Mtungwazi, who ups the energy level considerably while proving the band has a knack for modern R&B. That said, the heart and beauty of Zero 7 reside in fragile tracks like "The Road" and "Solastalgia."
