They were young and brash. They had a genuine in-your-face toughness like few other bands from Southern California in the late '70s. The Zeros created a name for themselves with their stripped down, raw '60s-inspired punk. Simple in the same way as the Ramones, but slower and more confrontational, they have a sound that will latch onto your brain and not let go.
