Zoot Sims

The Cool era Zoot Sims teams up with Swing's own "Sweets" Edison for a delightful and melodic romp. Edison never shied away from teaming with modernists, Sims was always a hard swinging tenor saxophonist, and both were lyrically gifted players. Even the groovy 1970s Rhodes keyboard work, this remains still fresh example of what jazz is all about. "Nature Boy" is perfect.
